Alanco's StarTrak Wins $1.2 Million Order


New StarTrak Orders Support Strong Sales Growth
in Advanced Refrigerated Transport Monitoring

(Scottsdale, AZ – February 9, 2009) – Alanco Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALAN), a leading provider of wireless tracking and asset management solutions, today announced its StarTrak Systems subsidiary has secured a $1.2 million order for its advanced ReeferTrak® RT6000 units. The enhanced system offers increased opportunities for the refrigerated transport industry to track, monitor and manage its refrigeration units.
